Katie O’Brien
Katie O’Brien, born and raised in South Florida, graduated from the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English. Following graduation, she attended law school at Nova Southeastern University on a full academic scholarship. Prior to joining Geyer Fuxa Tyler, Ms. O’Brien practiced as an Assistant State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida for almost five years, where she was a prosecutor in the Felony Trial Unit. While at the State Attorney’s Office, Ms. O’Brien had the opportunity to litigate over thirty jury trials to verdict. She is a member of the Florida Bar, and is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
